MRA Fire Safety will carry out Fire Safety Training at your premises at a time to suit you and your company.
Each course is individually designed for your workplace. We discuss the fire safety features and equipment in your building. Fire safety strategies and procedures covered in the course are based on your requirement and meet all legal requirements.
MRA Fire Safety has developed their range of fire safety courses using the principle of 'Total Fire Response Teams'. The courses are designed to allow any member of staff to take a leading role in a fire emergency.
Our standard course lasts approx 3 hours. However, our courses are open ended. We are more than happy to stay on-site until all attendees have a full understanding of their roles and responsibilities in regard to fire safety.
Our courses are carried out at you premises at a time to suit you. We can carry out a morning course, or an afternoon course, or both depending on your requirements. Each course practical exercises and is designed for up to 15 attendees.
Our courses include a Powerpoint presentation that includes:
- Legal requirements
- Fire prevention
- Fire safety features in your workplace
- Action on hearing the fire alarm
- Action on discovering a fire
- Evacuation procedures
- Fire alarm system
- Fire fighting equipment
- Case studies
A practical part of our courses involves the activation of your fire alarm. All attendees are shown how to read, understand and operate the fire alarm panel. We carry out an investigation and a walk/talk through an evacuation exercise.
Courses also include the practical use fire fighting equipment. MRA Fire Safety will supply a range of fire fighting equipment such as Carbon Dioxide, Water and Foam Extinguishers and a Fire Training Rig. The rig allows your staff to have practical experience of safely extinguishing a real fire under the direct control of our experienced instructor.
At the end of each course, all attendees will sit a question paper. The question paper is designed to display the individual's level of fire safety knowledge and can be included in your staff training & development records.
Upon completion of the course, attendees will receive an Attendance Certificate.
We ask all attendees to complete a course evaluation form. This allows your company to get direct feedback from the course. It also helps us to continue to develop our courses and maintain our commitment to continuous improvement.
